Research Interest

My research interest covers a broad interdisciplinary area including materials and surface chemistry. Current research focuses on the development of new electron-deficient semiconductors ranging from small molecules to polymers for optoelectronic applications such as organic field effect transistors and photovoltaic cells. Another research area I am strongly pursuing is molecular assembly utilizing both programmed layer-by-layer assembly and self assembly to produce surface based devices and nanostructured materials.
