Non-Degree-Seeking Students

If you have not met the university admission requirements but want to enroll for classes or would like to enroll in UNLV courses to later transfer credits to your home institution, you will be considered a non-degree-seeking, or special, student.

• University College Visit the University College website and learn about its academic programs and support services for students who are exploring majors or who seek the flexibility to explore degrees with multiple areas of study.
• Center for Academic Enrichment and Outreach Visit the center's website for services available to individuals in the community who may qualify as low-income or at-risk students.
• College of Sciences Advising Center If you are interested in the sciences or mathematics, you may obtain information from or make an appointment with the College of Sciences Advising Center.
