2009 Rules and Guidelines for Elementary and Middle Schools

  1. Local School Institutional Review Board (IRB) (PDF) Elementary and Middle Schools who have students who are using animals or humans in their science fair projects or inventions must form an IRB to review these projects before students begin research. Here are the guidelines for the IRB, and the FORM that STUDENTS and PARENTS must complete and submit to their IRB before beginning the project.
