Strategic Plan 2007
The strategic plan serves as a road map for the College of Sciences on how to remain competitive with other top university programs, while supporting UNLV's mission for growth, development, and the wellness of Nevada residents.
The strategic plan addresses both long-term and short-term objectives for the college, identifying research and interaction with other science-based units as a priority.
Through research and interaction, faculty and students are engaged in ongoing learning and discovery. That research, in turn, can have a positive effect on the state, whether it be examining drugs that may help treat diseases, or working with the radiation chemistry program to help address nuclear waste and fuel issues in Nevada.
